Quay Arts presents Digital Kraft; a series of creative adventures into all areas of the digital age, exploring photography, animation, filmmaking, VJing, Graf Art and heaps more. Whether you use these tools for work or just for fun this is your chance to learn, play and explore your creative potential. Embark on a journey into the exciting realms of digital art.

11th to 13th August £120 – INTRODUCTION 2 Digital Kraft
An adventure in drawn animation, this 3 day course will introduce you to the techniques used in traditional cell animation and explore digital editing equipment to produce a short collaborativemovie which you can upload to you facebook or youtube. We could be looking at the next generation of Matt Groenings!

11th to 13th August £150 -DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY & EDITING

This course offers an introduction to working in the digital domain, combining the effective use of state of the art digital cameras with a comprehensive introduction to the industry standard image-editing package.

August Creating handmade puppets inspired by the great outdoors to create a short stop motion animation edited in iMovie software, a great journey into animation for budding young creatives.

17th August £25 -GRAF ART & XTREME FILMING
For the price of a new Etnies Tshirt you can have a masterclass with local skate legend John Cattle. An action packed day divided between learning the spray can techniques of Graf art and capturing live skate footage all to be edited down into one fresh mini urban art skate film.

18th August £30 – DIGITAL DJING
More and more DJ’s are now digital DJing, instead of carting around crates of irreplaceable vinyl. Imagine never going out of time, playing more than two records at a time, the possibilities are endless. . . .
